Schools
A visit to a rotation is worth more than a visit to a single play, because the students see the same twenty-two people be different on two consecutive afternoons. We schedule school matinées in pairs for exactly that reason.
The Wednesday company
Eleven to fifteen year olds, Wednesdays in term time, on the thrust after the matinée has come down. They rehearse where the company rehearses. This is not sentimentality — a thrust teaches you to play to three sides and no other room will teach you that.
Backstage
The turnaround is open to booked groups on the two Thursdays of each rotation when it is safe to have people in. You stand at the back of the stalls and watch ninety minutes take one play off and put another one on.
